Design Wall Monday--Nov 5, 2012

On my design surface today are some leftover Christmas swap blocks that will become a small table runner to sell at the shoppe.

These friendship stars were what I made for the swap.  I had leftover 2 1/2 and 2 7/8 squares so just thought surrounding the pieced blocks would be fun.

Too busy, though?  Opinions welcomed.  See more design walls on Judy's Patchwork Times.

I might want to add a narrow solid border before the pieced border. Just my preference--I'm a border gal. It is very cute as is.

Janet's idea is a good one, a narrow stop border might be just the thing. I do love all the fabrics and the stars!

Very pretty table runner! I might add a thin red inner border and matching binding. Or not.

I love it and will love it either way. :-)

I love it! The stripes are well placed to keep it balanced. Maybe stick with a fairly solid binding and I think it's good to go :-)

I like it as it is, although I would be interested to see Janet's suggestion.

It's very cute Annie. I'd go with Michele's suggestion and add a solid binding .

Very pretty. I suggest a border that reads as a solid either between the squares or after, gives the eye a place to rest.
