I can already tell a lot of Switcheroo will be happening: too dark at one end and I don't like the disappearing bowtie in the center which is of too low contrast. Overall I am liking my plan and trying to imagine how I am going to quilt it. Go to Judy's blog to see all the other Design Walls!

Oh Annie - it's fabulous. I love it. :-)
Very cool! What a neat design!
I really had to search for the "disappearing bowtie" so.... :)
The arranging and rearranging is the fun part. The hard part is knowing when it is done. It is a lovely, warm looking quilt.
I really like it; my kind of quilt. Also love your header quilt on your blog.
I like your article "what is a UFO" and your bow tie quilt is looking good.
Annie, I like what you have going. If I'm seeing the one you think is disappearing correctly I'd change it with green one on the lower side at the top of the longest diagonal of bows. Be careful that you don't make the switching dark medium dark medium becuase I think it would take away from the free flow scrappy quilt that I think you are after. Thanks for all your nice comments during you "TV" Hour!
I really like the way you laid this out. I have never been fond of bow tie quilts, but this one is changing my mind! Very original.
Yep - I'm loving the layout. Do you think the diappearing middle bowtie will be an issue when this quilt is being used?
You may not need to tinker with this at all.
Hot dang this is rockin'!
I love that block arrangement!
Great layout. The addition of those 4-patch squares just gives a totally different look to plain bowtie blocks. He's gonna love it.
Love the 2 blocks you have combined in this quilt! Have fun re-arranging - it will be a gerat quilt no matter what!
I really like the layout. Nice change from a traditional bow tie quilt. Give it a lot more interest.
I really like the layout too., it's a lovely design.
OMG it's WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!
It's absolutely wonderful...lovely design!!!
Hi Annie, love the layout. You've made Bowties a blue ribbon affair! I'm going to keep your layout in mind for future baby quilts. Would never have occurred to me to lay them out that way...high fives for a brillant idea! Love the upcoming 9 patches also. And a clever way of organizing the process. Another idea for my tired brain! Sending big hugs to CA,Finn
