At Peace
With a heavy heart, I share that our future son-in-law's father passed away yesterday. Gary had emphysema and suffered tremendously for the last year. He is no longer struggling for breath and is free. His family knows he is in heaven and at peace at last. Gary will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Sandy, and sons Mike and Chris.

I'm so sorry, Annie, I'm sure you were all hoping he'd be there for the wedding...he will be present in spirit, though, and not suffering any more, amen!

My thoughts and prayers go out to your families. There definitely is comfort in knowing that his earthly struggles are now over. (My FIL died of emphysema and lung cancer, so I know how hard this is.)
