I've been piecing two blocks at a time so they are their own leader-enders. One more batch of 10 and there will be more variety to play with. It is looking a little less wild now that repeats of the prints are showing up. Most came from a kit of fat quarters I bought last year on clearance at JoAnn's, and I've thrown in stash and scraps to expand the grouping. Photos sure help with placement--I can already see where I've flipped a block the wrong way and other spots were too many of the same color are showing up. See more Design Walls on Judy's Patchwork Times. Have a good Monday!
Ort: Noun, meaning a scrap; a bit. Usually plural. Words about quilting, fabric, family and life in a Southern California beach town.

Love, love, love. This makes my scrappy heart happy! What a great block and so many things you can do with it! Can't wait to see it finished. :)
Love that pattern! It would look good with so many different kinds of fabrics - florals, batiks, 30's reproductions, a mishmash of whatever - it would work with everything.
Look at you go!!! What a great leader/ender project. This would be great done in plaids....you know, for a guy. I've been working on some plaid shirtings, a quilt for my older brother's birthday in Sept.
I think your scrappy fabrics are perfect!
I love this as a scrappy project. Yours looks wonderful.
Scrappy quilts are my favourites. Yours is coming along nicely! I love to look at all the fabrics in scrap quilts. There are no rules.
It's such a great scrappy quilt! And I enjoyed searching for the flipped block...took me a while!
Really like your quilt! Is this a pattern i could find to do/purchase?? Thanks and can't wait to see more of this!
What a happy quilt!
Your leader ender project is looking great :-)
It looks great and that is a great pattern to use up fat quarters. A great leader-ender. Sometimes it is easier to see the color values in a photo isn't it? I had a small bargello quilt that I posted and it wasn't until I read my own post that I saw one row was upside down.
What a cool quilt this is going to be. Love the mix of colors: scrappy is so very hard for me as I tend to look for value balance and/or color combos which isn't the idea at all.
Scrappy Trails to you... until we meet again! Love it~
Love all the colors, it's a very playful quilt!
