Promises

As I promised myself, work on the Flowers for Nana Girl quilt is moving right along.  At this point the quilting is about half done and just after posting this I'll get back to it.

My co-worker, for whom is quilt is destined, is a big fan of  "I Love Lucy".  I thought quilting in big L's would be a fun way to incorporate her favorite lady.  That's as much planning I put into this task!

It is simple to do and gives some lovely crosshatching texture to the quilt, the way I've nestled the loops together--which just sort of happened--and I really like it.  OK, I'm going back in!

Love your work! Do you quilt on a longarm, or a sewing machine? Your stitching is consistently spaced and sized, as Joyful Quilter said. Inquiring minds want to know how you achieve this!
