Tablerunners are sure nice for a quick "fix" of achieving a finish!
These fat little bluebirds are joined by some vintage baby rick rack I found among my Grandmother's sewing things. I washed and ironed it first to make sure shrinkage would be no problem.
The machine applique and quilting went pretty smoothly, I must say, except for the apparent cosmic rule of my house which states that I must run out of bobbin thread six inches from finishing--whether it be machine quilting or attaching the binding. Some simple stippling in the center and loops in the borders went very quickly. I hope this will sell quickly at the Shoppe!
Ort: Noun, meaning a scrap; a bit. Usually plural. Words about quilting, fabric, family and life in a Southern California beach town.

It's darling! Be careful, you'll have people fighting over it in the shop!
This is adorable! The rick rack is the perfect touch!
I'll be surprised if it doesn't sell quickly. It is very cute! So Springy, too. In our deep freeze in northern Utah people are craving bright, happy things!
Very cute! I'd say Spring visited your house.
So sweet -- this one just sings "Spring".
adorable, I am sure it will sell perfect for spring time!
I could actually see this on a dresser in a little girls room too.

So cute! reminds me of the disney movie Cinderella when the little bluebirds are helping make her dress. This is adorable.
Sweet Spring! It's definitely in this little table runner. Agree with McIrish Annie above. I immediately thought of the birds and animals making Cinderella's dress. Totally charming :)
This is adorable :P
