Scraps and leftovers from previous projects, plus a few well-aged fat quarters make up most of the blocks. Also, I suddenly recalled a fat quarter stack of CW prints purchased years ago at the International Quilt Festival, which we stored elsewhere. The hazard of a sewing room with no closet!
Grandson Cove and his Papa having a staring contest. We got a little cuddle time Saturday morning. See more design walls on Judy's Patchwork Times. http://www.patchworktimes.com/2014/03/24/design-wall-monday-march-24-2014/

Nice blocks. Simple, easy but very nice looking. Cuddle time is the best. I've got some scheduled for early April.
Great blocks! I love digging in the stash. :)
Papa and Cove are adorable!
Those blocks are going to be so interesting when they're all sewn together. I'm so tired of sewing baby quilts and ready for some grown up projects. gasp! did I just say that out loud? Not tired of babies though so keep those adorable pictures of Cove coming, can't get enough of those!
Lovely blocks. I was going to ask how big they were, then I saw the cutting mat underneath. Wow! I'm even more impressed.

He's so sweet bundled up and in grandpa's arms! How funny that you are doing that cover quilt and I just got that book out a couple of days ago cause I'm taking a class with Kim in May at the local guild. We're doing Mocha Stars from the same book. Yippee!!
High Cotton is going to be wonderful!
Oh, enjoy that cuddle time!
I love those blocks Annie...they're going to look fantastic put together into a quilt.
Waving at Cove. He is such a cutie pie!
Cute pic of Cove and his Papa....and I retrieved Kim's book from the bookshelf the other day - perhaps some of my well aged stash could become a scrappy quilt...makes fabric sound like fine wine doesn't it...well aged...hmmmmmmmm
High Cotton looks like a good scrap buster!
And your husband looks so content and proud.
Pretty blocks, High Cotton is going to very colorful!
Love the blocks Annie, great contrast.
Sweet photo of Cove and his doting Papa.
I love those blocks and the cover quilt on her book. Most of all I love the mutual adoration between grandfather and grandson.
Your blocks are great. I really like Kim Diehl's designs and just bought that book for myself. Your grandson is adorable.
I love Kim Diehl's designs, your High Cotton blocks are very appealing. You can't ever show too many pictures of your precious grandson, what a cutie!
