It looks good. I think it might look fabulous with some spacing between the grids, I'd vote for black.

I've been trying to teach myself how to photo montage in Picasa..and I just can't get it.
Congratulations on being able to with your pics!
Borders around each individual picture would make each individual quilts personality shine through.
