A July finish

It's another small quilt, but a finish is a finish!  This one will hang in my work cubicle.  I have the smallest workspace of anyone in the office but it does have a nice window and high ceilings.
This was a fun project and I'm sorry I took so long to get it together.  I could have been enjoying it brightening up my workspace for the past year!

Simple machine quilting with matching thread.

I like the effect on the back too.

Tonight I will be having a small Quilt Circle meeting at my house.  My SIL Laura has a similar cat pattern but it is an allover tessellated pattern and she's asked for my help.  A co-worker also wants help with a project.  This will hopefully be the start of many gatherings here.  I'll have to come up with a name...hmmm, pondering.

That is so bright and cheerful--how will you ever get any work done for gazing at the colors?

I am envious that you are able to finish something. I just keep adding to my list and starting new things! This little quilt will brighten up any area.

Have fun at your quilting group!

Very cute! I have a pattern that is similar, another one on my some day list. Take a picture of your SIL's tessellated version I'm curious what it looks like. Have fun tonight.

Very pretty and cheery for work. I have the smallest work space in our office too but I have recently been blessed with a new modern desk to help make up for the lack of space! Love the quilting.

It is the perfect color scheme for summer. And if you get tired of having it on the wall, it looks like it would be a wonderful table topper! Gorgeous!

Well it is darling. And what a fabulous idea - to spruce up your cube. I work in a basement of an office and it is really depressing some days. I have a quilt calendar that perks me up. I don't really have a wall to hang a quilt on but it is an idea!

Love your 'twisted tails' or 'tesselated cats' quilt. I have searched high and low for a pattern online, and cannot find one. Would you be willing to share yours? Thanks. :)
