- First, a note to my sister Kathy: CALL ME ABOUT CINCI.
- Still getting off work too late to get home by dark. Thought I was gonna make it one day last week but nope, didn't happen!
- Saturday morning I got up reasonably early but somehow half the morning vanished without my getting much accomplished. I did spend about 20 minutes looking for a box to in which to mail my blogversary prize to Dawn but ended up buying one at the post office.
- People watching at the post office is almost as good as the airport, don't you think?
- Traffic Rant: Drivers' unwillingness to accept mistakes. You are in the wrong lane, it was your choice, but that doesn't mean you can illegally turn from the third lane on a red light in front of two other lanes of traffic, you thoughtless boob.
- My mom's birthday was Sunday and it turned into a big family gathering when two of my brothers came in to town with their families. Mom ended up with four of her five offspring and 12 of her 16 grandchildren there to celebrate. I got a darling shot of my brother Tyler's youngest three:
John is nearly 3, Lily is 7, and Lauren almost 5. Several other cameras were pulled out as these sweet smiles held for a minute or so!

Happy Birthday to your Mom, sweet snapshot of the little ones.
There are many wonderful venues for people watching, and you're right... the post office ranks right up there. Now, people and driving~ I am quickly running low on patience there.
Super cute pic ....sounds like a fun get together! Days are getting shorter here.....too dark to walk first thing in the mornings.....am getting home from work before dark for now...but that will change in a couple of months....I agree the post office is a great people watching opportunity.
I so look forward to Tuesdays and my Annie's orts fix. Airport is #1 for people watching. Walmart is a close second for an entirely different entertainment factor. There is almost never a line at my small town PO and I usually know everyone in it if there is one.
Oh yeah - looking forward to some airport and cruise ship people watching this weekend, Annie! Happy Birthday to your mom!
Cheers!
How cute they are that is a great picture! What a nice surprise for your mom everyone coming to see her. Must have been fun seeing everyone !
Sweet picture, I love happy faced kids!! Your traffic rant is mine, too.(And I've been missing that segment of your Tuesdays, lol)
:-}pokey
I SO look forward to the 'Driving Rant' It's as if you were riding along with me every week!
