To keep each row's layout, I "webbed the top" a la Bonnie Hunter, only on a miniature scale.
Pressing each seam open helped with the bulk.
The HSTs are nearing "Omigosh" size. And it didn't drive me mad.
Well, I don't know, you think this one inch border is too wide? :)

Really a sweet little quilt. No, I think the border looks great. :)

LOVE this, Annie! Open seams definitely help on pieces this itty-bitty.
If it was my own little project I would probably trim the border down very narrow and then maybe add a dark border. But it is yours, not mine. Do what makes you happy!
This is super cute. I think I might make the border a tiny bit smaller and the binding dark blue. What are your thoughts. A nice quick, fun leftover project to clear the pallet so to speak.
ARE YOU CRAZY!!! Oh yes you are!!! Well, all we quilters are at some time of another! HA!
LOVE this teeny tiny piece. It's just so darn cute!! You go girl!
Your teeny triangles turned out great! I love sewing itty bitty stuff. I guess it's the challenge. I'd probably make the border the same size or less than the block size. Great job!
I looks much bigger than it really is. "Omiagosh size"?!! I'm agreeing sort of -it needs another border. Is the bolt above for the backing???
This is gorgeous but would definitely drive me mad! smaller than a dime!! that is crazy small but I don't think the border is too big.
Very cute and looks wonderful with the border as is. Now, the question is , what are your plans for it? Doll quilt? Table topper? Adorable.
What a gorgeous little quilt. Im taking my hat off to you for even attempting something with such tiny pieces!
Cute! cute! cute! :-)
Very cute! I'd have gone blind working that small. Beautifully done.
Too cute! I like the wide border. Maybe a dark binding? How are you going to quilt it?
WOW! those are so tiny! You did a great job with these - love it!
I LOVE this! You can do some cool quilting in that border...YUM!
Mercy, those are sure tiny, Annie! Great job! Your border looks good, or you could trim it down, add a small dark border, then some more of the beige to really set it off!
Cheers!
The scale is amazing. I can't do this.
What a tiny treasure!
So glad to hear the project didn't drive you mad. It's adorable and I can't wait to see it quilted.
Egads, I've got some of those tiny triangles too and haven't been able to figure out what to do with them. I have a feeling I WOULD go mad piecing those! But your result is lovely. Should I or shouldn't I?
