Grant was on vacation this past week and we continued our painting adventure intermittently. We also had a couple of meals out and after one lunch date I persuaded him to walk into the nearby Tuesday Morning shop with me. I'm quite certain he has never been in that store--he dislikes most any shopping other than for groceries--and he didn't stay long but went to wait in the car while I pawed through the fat quarters I'd seen advertised.
Different colorways were offered of these adorable farm animal prints--look at that piggie! I chose the brown collection. There were also a couple of colorways of the Summer Song and I chose white.
These are very good quality Riley Blake prints from 2009, sold in sets of 7 fat quarters for $9.99--a real bargain at about $1.50 per fat quarter. I may have to go back and pick up another colorway of the farm animals--there was a plaid I liked in one of the other sets.
I think these will make up into great little quilts to sell in the craft shoppe. Meanwhile, I'm hand stitching down the binding on the wedding quilt that will be gifted tomorrow. Good thing it is only a throw sized quilt!
