Four 9-patches to complete the 40 needed for my layout.
Yummy piles of 9-patches. Most of these were from a swap I participated in last year by JulieK. The alternate square in square blocks will form stars around the 9-patches in the Thimbleberries pattern I'm following. It doesn't seem likely that I will get this quilt done, but definitely the top, by the deadline. It's a very busy week!
Although the quilter who stitched these two did not follow the traditional 9-patch rules the rest of us did, I love these scrappy ones and they will go in my quilt. See more design walls on Judy's Patchwork Times.

I love those 9 patches. I haven't decided what design to use mine in yet. My swap blocks are marinating in a baggie for the moment until inspiration strikes. Lucky you with a bit of sunshine for Easter. All we had was grey skies & more rain. Maybe I need to head south again.
9 patches are such a great, versatile pattern. And, there are tons of ways to set them. These are coming along nicely.
The 9-patches are yummy!! I really like the scrappy ones and they will look great in the quilt.
Those are yummy! I love the vintage look and agree those scrappy ones will fit in nicely somewhere in it.
Scappy 9 patch blocks are some of the best I think.
Rules are meant to be broken (at least some of the time )
Your 9 patches look brilliant! It's going to be a wonderful quilt. I can feel it in my bones.
Looks like a great quilt in the making! Have fun. Even if you don't get it done, moving foward is progress!
love nine patches...guess the swap rules were not scrappy blocks?
oopss guess she didn't read the rules!
nice fabrics though, maybe even make one the label on the back?
can't wait to see the finished quilt!

Yummy piles of 9-patches is right. What great fun to work with all of them.
Rules, schmules. Not for everybody, I guess. The unique ones can just be part of the story of your quilt.
