Not bad for a first attempt, but the letters seemed too blocky and crude for these elegant witches.
Lowercase letters are easier to make, too.
This combo fits the space well but I may mix upper and lower case for fun. That decision doesn't have to be made until all the names are ready to be assembled. Then I'll add spacers and finally trim to a consistent height. So far I have not had to discard any whole letters, but some pieces definitely hit the trash bin. I barely had enough leftover fabric to make all these letters, so I better be more careful as I go--there isn't much left of any of these fabrics!

These look great to me but you could make them smaller by using narrower strips...and then you don't have to worry about running out of fabric too.
Can't wait to see who's up next?!
fabulous, fun, wonderful etc. love it. great witches too!!!
Your Any Witch Way quilt is wonderful and I don't think there is any way you can make a letter "wrong". There are no wrong widths for letters! It looks like you are having fun. I need to get another Wonky Word quilt started!
Love the letters! Can't wait to see it finished.
I like all combinations of letters , upper case, lower case, whatever . It looks fantastic.
WOW!!!! that is looking sooooo awesome!!
You go girl! Looks awesome!!!!
I like the concept of big and small mixed together - though I also agree with the idea that the letters and the witches may not match. I'm sure it will all sort out when the names are done, making it a darling and one-of-a-kind piece (the best kind!)
