On my Design Floor today is the UFO Challenge 2012 pick Judy pulled for this month, #10. On my list that corresponds to the Jewel Box project. My plan is to make a throw sized quilt.
These blocks were from a swap with an online group I belong to, Quiltbuddies, from several years ago. I'd like to grow this by about two rows wider and three rows longer, so have a number of parts to assemble from already cut pieces, and more pieces to cut from the project box. Aren't the jewel colors pretty? I like this setting but have also seen a barn-raising one that was pretty cool too. I have someone in mind for this quilt when it is finished, but more about that later. See more design walls on Judy's Patchwork Times.

Very pretty. You'll have this one completed in no time.
It is a very pretty quilt-in-progress!
Very pretty. This is one of my favorites for using scraps. I love brights too. Nice job.
This UFO definitely deserves a finish it's so colorful and will make a wonderful gift.
Hi Annie, Love the colors in this! They are really cheerful!
That's very pretty. Pulling together brights in a quilt would be a challenge for me as I tend towards more subdued, earthtone shades, but I could be pulled out of my box. I do like looking at bright cheery quilts. :)
Amazing blocks. The color combination is wonderful. You'll finish it in a whisker.
This is a bright jewel tones quilt to go with the Jewel box pattern. Have fun making more blocks and finishing this UFO this month.
Aren't you so eager...getting started on the next month's UFO project so soon! Way to go!
