These will be cut into 3.5" sections arranged around large 8.5 squares for the Natural Beauty quilt from Quilts and More Winter 2010 issue. I am increasing the size of this throw to make a queen sized quilt and have redrawn part of the pattern to eliminate a lot of seams in the white setting squares. It meant cutting three different sized pieces instead of just 3.5" squares, but everything is cut out and ready to go. I also decided to only use one fabric for the narrow strips rather than two as the pattern calls for. Makes for fewer strip sets for me to mix up when rearranging!
Finally, finally, I got a Leader/Ender project started. I have only been meaning to do this for a year or two, sheesh!

The wedding quilt is looking really nice! Why is it that it is so hard to get in the leader/ender habit? I once did it but then I ran out of cut squares to put together and it just stopped. Need to get back to that!

I really like the batiks you're using. The most valuable thing I learned in the first quilt class I ever took was to use the leader/ender thing!

Love them all! I printed the Natural beauty quilt pattern when I first saw it a couple of months ago. I need to get some fabrics for that!!

I've never done leader/enders but I think it's something I should give some consideration.It's like two quilts for te effort of one.

Your wedding quilt will be beautiful, love the colors you have picked. Leaders and enders are fun......plus another quilt gets made fast. Like the pattern you are using, love Heather's patterns. I'm a new follower.
I too, have a hard time adding those bits at the start and end of my sewing pieces. Just have to work on have to keep at it. I'm doing the ton of triangles I have cut off when making flying geese and the like. Don't know what I'm going to do with them.
Working with leaders and enders is an acquired habit--not a natural one. But the results will pile up so quickly.
